 These are the principles my own parents instilled in me and I am very grateful to them for it. They have given me dignity and fantastic relationships. Their parents before them held the same values. Preserving these values as the world changes so rapidly around young people today becomes harder but is one of the best things anyone can do for their children and nieces and nephews. Hard work first, respect for yourself along the way, patience, control, and then the rewards will come. But ultimately the only reward of any value is the ability to give. 

 The ability to give is the ultimate aim and the ultimate reward. Don’t be fooled by the idea that to win is to make oneself a life full of material things and glamour. Don’t believe all the thousands of media and marketing messages we receive every day trying to influence us to believing we need this or that in our lives.
